What an inspired title XD


In about two days, I'll be going back to school as a research assistant and a grad student. It's been 5 years since I was in college, and going into a major that's a world away from my three in undergrad -- I wasn't sure if I'd ever be accepted, considering the odds. But hey, I had comics and I had tons of examples for my portfolio. So maybe I had a chance? (Obviously I did, I'm just being poetically silly.)

So now it seems like the perfect time to post the cover to my portfolio. I used this character a couple of times when I started to post online years ago but I stopped using her because Miyara from my webcomic took over a little as my 'signature character' :3 I figured it would be nice to have her as the first thing in my thingeroo and to make this the most heavy-layered colored picture ever! XD The scroll below her was space for my real name and other pertinent facts.

Her name's Jadine Rhine. Yes, you read that right! Think of her like my muse, despite my reluctance to use that name
